At the Mobile Challenge of Champions, the youngest athlete of the field won the invitational 2 mile in 10:52.48. That would make Abby Merner, only a seventh-grader, the eighth-fastest runner in this event so far this outdoor season.

There were 780 votes tallied throughout the week. Merner accumulated 526 of them to earn about 67-percent of the vote.

Congratulations Merner on the incredible accomplishment at the Mobile Challenge of Champions.

Now let's move on to week 4 of the outdoor National Performer of the Week poll.
