The boys 4x100m relay at the Farragut Invitational in Knoxville, Tennessee this past weekend finished with fireworks.
Coming into the final exchange the team from Mt. Juliet High School had distanced itself ever so slightly from the rest of the field. With 50 meters to go, Mt. Juliet's anchor leg had garnered a 5-meter lead, but the anchor leg from Bearden High School had other plans.
The anchor leg from Bearden put in the work to make up the deficit and was able to pass Mt. Juliet's anchor leg just before the line to sucre the win.
