Kaila Jackson Overcame An Injury And Wants Gold at Nationals

In 2020, Kaila Jackson's mission was to overcome a hamstring injury throughout the indoor season. Now, the 2019 AAU Junior Olympic 100m champion and New Balance Nationals Indoor 60m champion is looking for a national title this weekend at adidas Indoor Nationals.

Up until this point in her season, Jackson is ranked US No. 3 in the 60m and US No. 9 in the 200m, which are the events she will be competing in this weekend. Needless to say, she is one of the top contenders.

She said that she feels "powerful and strong" and she's ready to compete.

Looking into next season, her mind is set to run 7.20 in the 60m and low 23 in the 200m.
