This girls' 60mH field is loaded with tons of top talent, starting with US No. 2 ranked Jada Pierre.

The Bullis School (MD) senior ran a PR of 8.49 seconds this season at the VA Beach Club Opener in December. Since then, she has run times between 8.69 and 8.73 and finished third in the finals at both the Grant Holloway Holiday Invitational and The 757 Showdown.

Two athletes who ran faster than her at those meets were Katharine Duren and Lucheyona Weaver, both of whom will also be competing for a national title this weekend.

Duren, a Massachusetts native, currently owns a US No. 8 time of 8.57 from her second-place finish at The East Coast Invitational. Weaver, a Florida native, is currently tied for the third-fastest time in the nation with an 8.50 from The Galleria Games. Her time is tied with Virginia beach native Zamia Stelly, who won The East Coast Invitational in 8.50.

Some other top contenders will be Motor City Track Club's (MI) Nonah Waldron and North Carolina's Akala Garrett. The two are ranked US No. 6 (8.56) and US No. 8 (8.59), respectively. Other top 20 ranked athletes are: US No. 12 ranked Mackenzie Hartman, US No. 15 ranked Amanda Kinloch, US No. 16 ranked Tess Stapleton and US No.18 Jordyn Henderson.
