Event: 400m, High Jump, 4x200m, and 4x400m
The nation's No. 1 high jumper will head to the one place he'll call home next year.
The LSU signee cleared 7-0.25 this year at the LSU HS Qualifier. Hilton's clearance was a quarter-of-an-inch improvement from his top mark of 2020, a 7-foot jump which also came at the indoor state championships.
Hilton also ran a 50.29 at the LSU High School Last Chance Qualifier to win that event as well.
Hilton is scheduled to compete in the high jump and 400m, and will feature in the 4x200m and 4x400m for Zachary, which just ran the second-fastest time on a flat track this season in the 4x200.
In 2019, Hilton won his first indoor state title in the high jump when he cleared 7-0. At this meet, he also broke the Divison 1 Meet record. Last year, Hilton finished second in the 400m with a personal best of 49.97 and sixth in the high jump.
