Jaylen Slade. Who doesn't know his name already?
He's US No. 1 in the 60m, 200m and 300m.
On the national high school all-time list, he's tied for No. 26 in the 60m, tied for No. 8 in the 200m and is US No. 2 in 300m.
His stride pattern looks effortless and yet powerful at the same time.
At the East Coast Invitational, the IMG Academy (FL) junior ran a personal best and became the first boy to break 21 seconds during the indoor season in the 200m. He left that meet with a new US No. 1 time of 20.97 seconds.
He will showcase his speed in both the 60m and 200m at the Adidas Indoor Nationals.
