In a 3200 meter race that featured a trio of Ohio's top distance talents of this era, Chad Johnson, Zach Kreft and Vincent Mauri, it was an unknown visitor from north of the border who would surprise those both in attendance at the SPIRE Institute and watching via MileSplit live-stream by crossing the line first.
Guelph, Ontario, Canada native, Marcus Kemp took command early and never relinquished the lead en route to an ultra-impressive victory at the 2018 Showcase. The Speed River Track Club representative clocked 9:02.58.
