The first-year Reilly has caught many eyes already this season.
At the VA Showcase, Cole Piotrowski and Reilly finished with the No. 1 and No. 2 times in the country in the 1K. Piotrowski finished 0.22 seconds ahead of Reilly's 2:31.43, which helped the teen earn a freshman class record. Reilly ran the fourth fastest 1K time by any freshman going back to 2000. He also set an indoor personal best in the mile at the same meet with a 4:15.51.
