Halyn Senegal of St. Louis High (LA) will have a busy weekend. She is scheduled to run in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays and will also go in the 60m and 800m.
At this meet, Senegal will compete in the first 60m of her high school career. Last season, she ran a 2:17.19 in the 800m to place second at the Galleria Games.
Over the summer, she earned a silver medal in the 800m and a bronze medal in the 400m at the AAU Junior Olympics. Over the 2020 indoor season, she set personal bests in the 400m of 56.99 and 2:15.78 in the 800m.
She will begin her day on the 4x200m which the starting gun will go off at 11 am. The 60m prelims and finals are scheduled for 12:40 pm and 1:37 pm. The 4x400 relay will begin during Session 2 at 5 pm.
