Ariel Pedigo is off to a strong start this season: She has set four personal bests already in the 60mH, high jump, long jump and shot put.
This weekend, the Parkview Baptist (LA) athlete will focus on the 60mH and the long jump events. At the Galleria Games last month, she ran a 9.29 in the finals. At the same meet, she finished second in the long jump with a leap of 18-1.5.
Last season, she finished third at the LHSAA Indoor State Championships in the 60mH and was eighth in the long jump. She also competed in the high jump and shot put, where she placed second and sixth, respectively.
On MileSplit's live stream, she will be in the long jump pit at 11:30 am. She will be on the track for the 60mH prelims at 12:10 pm and the finals at 1:33 pm.
