Timo Mostert - American Fork (UT)

There should be doubt in anyone's mind that Coach Mostert knows how to prepare his teams for national-level competition. With 30 pulse years of coaching experience, he's earned the respect of his coaching peers.

His squad has also made team nationals nine out of the past twelve years. This year, the guy's of American Fork team took home a very close second-place to Skyridge in the Utah Class 6A state meet, scoring 62 to Skyridge's 57.

But the Cavemen didn't hang their heads on that defeat. The team came back even stronger in the postseason, beating Skyridge (3rd) at the Border Wars Utah Qualifier on Nov. 7 and then again on the national stage at the RunningLane National Championships. American Fork also defeated Niwot (CO), Valor Christian (CO) and Skyridge. American Fork even ran the country's fastest 5K average in history at RLXC, putting down a time of 15:00.
