The Syracuse signee took some major strides to improve this season. 

Last year he ran five sub-16 minute efforts for 5K, running a PR of 15:35.50 at the GHSA Class 7A Area Championships. He later placed third at the state meet and 12th at the 2019 GA HS Cross Country Meet of Champions.

Fast forward a year and the Marietta senior had three sub 15-minute 5K performances and grabbed his his first 7A GHSA state title. The MileSplit50 No. 5 ranked runner set a new personal best of 14:37.19 at the RunningLane National Cross Country Championships to finish fifth against stiff competition.

His performance earned him a 192 speed rating. Over a one-year time frame, Miller shaved 58.31 seconds. Since 2017, Miller shaved 2:07.21 seconds for 5K.
