National Boys Peformer Of The Week (11/16-11/23)

* East Central's (MS) Christian Balcer is a nominee for Week 14 of the NPOTW poll

For this week's National Boys Performer of the Week honors, we have decided to nominate four different classes of athletes from the RunningLane XC National Championships: A senior, a junior, a sophomore and a freshman.

It's only fitting, considering the event produced an insane level of competition.

Let's start with last week, though, and the absolutely and completely unbelievable -- and honestly, c'mon people -- Week 13 poll that generated a whopping 95,945 votes.

Regardless of the flawed vote, every single one of the nominees deserved recognition for their work the previous week. For this past installment, Belen Jesuit's Javier Vento won after his first FHSAA Class 3A  State Cross Country Championship win, a race that saw the future Florida Gator post a winning time of 15:22.20 -- the Wolverines also scored the Class 3A team title with the effort.

Big ups to Vento on the win.

Now let's move on to Week 14 of the National Performer of the Week (this time we're blocking multiple votes by cookie and IP address!).

We'll have seven candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. For reference, check our Top 250 Performances of the Week. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
