COLLEGE SIGNING CENTRAL (ONLY COMMITMENTS PRE NOV. 11)

The nation's No. 1 ranked girls recruit for the Class of 2021 has made her college decision.

After countless calls, letters, and prayers, Michaela Rose has decided to continue her academic and athletic career at Louisiana State University.

The Virginia native will be signing her Letter of Intent on November 11th, National Signing Day.

Rose is the defending national outdoor champion at 800m and was also last year's national runner-up in the 400mH. This summer she won the AAU Junior Olympic title in the 400mH out of lane eight.

While at LSU she said she will not being forced to choose one event over the other, but she did say she will most likely be running the 800 when it comes to NCAAs -- and that that event is her favorite.

Rose has been homeschooled her entire career and competes for Faith In Action Ministries as a club athlete. Having an element of faith in her daily schooling and training was one of the biggest reasons for her to remain homeschooled despite having some solid options when it came to where she was districted.

Entering her senior season, Michaela ranks 8th all-time in the 1K for VA, 5th all-time in the 500 and holds both the indoor and outdoor state record for the 800m run.
