Priscilla Frederick, an Olympian for Antigua and Barbuda's in 2016 and a two-time Pan American silver medalist, opened up about her journey in the high jump.
The Paul VI (NJ) 2007 graduate had her eyes set on being an entertainer ever since she was a child. She was able to combine the high jump event with entertainment and she hasn't been happier.
Throughout her adulthood, she experienced challenges in body imaging and shaming. She remembered comparing her body to her competitors. It took some confidence for her to realize she is unique in her own way, including her stylish wigs and nails.
As she continues to train and prepare for the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she plans to ask her followers on social media to help her pick out her next hairdo for her future competitions.
