COVID-19 has claimed another event in our sport. Unfortunately, the decision to cancel the 2020 MileSplit TX XC Invitational has been made.
This was scheduled to be the second edition of the meet hosted by Denton Guyer High School at South Lakes Park in Denton, Texas. "This is not the end of the MileSplit TX XC Invitational," Jessica Reina, Director of Events for FloSports said; "we made the decision due to circumstances around COVID."
The meet was scheduled to have some of the best teams and individuals in the state of Texas compete as well as some from Oklahoma and Arkansas. Teams from Houston, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, and the Amarillo metropolitan areas were scheduled to meet up with some of the best teams in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
We will return next year even bigger and better as preliminary plans are already being made. If you have already registered and paid entry fees please email william.grundy@flosports.tv.
