Every season, The Woodland's Friday Night Lights provides one of the most exciting cross country competitions in the state of Texas.
However, this season, it will not. The meet series will temporarily halt as the program goes through a transition.
The last year the Friday Night Lights meet was not held was in 2017 when Hurricane Harvey made it's landfall onto South Texas resulting in catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding in the Houston metropolitan area and Southeast Texas.
The meet rebounded strong since then and looks to do the same upon resuming in 2021.
