Colorado State Champs Retro: Anna Hall's Four Big Moments

There was no other way for Anna Hall to go out in 2019.

She had to make it a challenge.

And the Valor Christian (CO) High School legend did just that, finishing out her high school career in 2019 with quite the schedule, lining up in the 100mH, the 300mH, the 4x200 and 4x400.

But the end result? Four state championships and two newly minted-state records.

Hall gave great performances in all four events, anchoring both relays for new state records -- the 4x200 squad scored that honor in the prelims.

In the 300mH (above), Hall didn't overtake her career best 40.76 second performance from 2018, though she did perform impressively from the gun, forming a major gap by the third hurdle.

By the fifth, she was demolishing the field and looking to finish with gusto.

Eventually, Hall would cross the line in 41.70 seconds, nearly three full seconds ahead of the second-place competitor.

Hall received the baton -- with a massive lead -- and had a chance to do that again, though ultimately came just short, finishing in 1:37.39.

Retrospective: Hall finished her high school career with a few more accomplishments before heading off to the University of Georgia. The proceeding month saw Hall lower her 100mH PR down to 13.94 at Great Southwest, before she followed with a new national record in the hepathlon in July, raising her career best point total to 5,848 at the Pan-American U20 Championships in Cost Rica, winning the event. In her freshman year at Georgia, she was the SEC runner-up in the pentathlon (4,166 points).
