In 2019, Bailey Goggans made a statement at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays.
Just a sophomore, the Marble Falls athlete took the field through the first lap in roughly 63 seconds before doubling back for an impressive 65 en route to her time of 2:08.80, which would feature as one of six times under 2:10 for her on the season.
Goggans would eventually go on to score a UIL Class 5A title in the 800m, her second straight, and finish second at the Music City Carnival against elite competition in a personal best of 2:06.61. She was also fifth in an elite field at Brooks PR in June.
