NYSPHSAA -NY State Champs Girls 1000m
The third heat of the girls 1000m at the NYSPHSAA -NY State Champs came down to a crazy finish on Saturday. The race was between Notre Dame Academy's (NY) Sierra Dinneen and FDR's (NY) Sarah Trainor. It seemed to be Trainor's up until the final straightaway when Dinneen made a pass on the outside to take the win. Their times of 2:51.39 and 2:51.43 rank US No. 8 and US No. 9 respectively.
