At the conclusion of the NCHSAA 4A Indoor State Championships Friday afternoon, Panther Creek was announced NCHSAA 4A State Champions by just one point over Millbrook who was one point over Reagan 50.5 to 49.5 to 48.5.
After the conclusion of the meet, a scoring error has been found in the Boys 500m Run.

As you can see above Dillon Leacock finished 5th place, but was still scoring 4 points instead of 5 with the DQ of Lee Campbell. This will bump Korey Pratt to scoring 5, Leacock to 4 and Jesse Wells to 3.
With just one point separating Panther Creek and Millbrook on Friday, this now causes the two schools to be tied at 50.5 to 50.5 making them co-state champions.
As we've seen before outdoors, there is no tiebreaker in place to separate the two schools and they'll both be crowned NCHSAA 4A Indoor State Champions. It'll be Millbrook's first team title on the track in school history!
