Jenna Rogers Commits to University of Nebraska

Jenna Rogers, the outdoor high jump New Jersey state record holder and 2017 New Balance Nationals Outdoor Champion, announced on twitter Thursday night that she'll be heading to the University of Nebraska next fall.

This Rutherford senior broke into the high school track and field scene as early as freshmen year when she cleared a National freshmen class record of 6-00.75 to win the 2017 New Balance Nationals Outdoor high jump title. A height that still holds true today as the New Jersey state record.

The following winter she cleared her best indoor mark of 5-11 at the Varsity Classic and claimed an NJSIAA Meet of Champions title over the 5-10 bar.

She's been over the 5-10 clearance or greater nine times now. Rogers is the leading New Jersey and US#2 indoor returner from last season with a 5-10 clearance.
