East Lake senior, Parker Valby, announced her commitment to the University of Florida on Tuesday night on twitter.
Valby capped off her junior season with a state record run in the 3A 3200m race at the FHSAA State Finals in May. So far this cross country season, she has raced an 18:20 at the Falcon Invite. Don't count her out to make some moves this state series coming up.
The future Gator holds personal records of 4:50 in the 1600m, 10:10 in the 3200m, 2:16 in the 800m, and 17:39 for the cross country 5k.
