4 Underdog Boys Teams That Could Make An Impact In 2019

This team has raced several times this season, but one race in particular caught our attention. That was the team's race at the Running Fit - Detroit Mercy Titans Invitational. The team won scoring 24 points with a 1:49 1-5 split and a 15:55 five-man average. They've won all but one of their invitationals so far this season, including the Trenton Watermelon Run and the Michigan Catholic XC Invitational. The one race they didn't win was the Northville Mustang Invitational where they took fourth place running in a deeper field without their three and four guys in Charlie Frank and Muaad Abdulaziz.

The team can compete for the title of the best 1-3 in the country with Anthony and Michael Hancock leading the way and Charlie Frank not far behind, but one concern with this team is its 4-5 which considerably pull their 1-5 spread over a minute. If they can close down that gap the team could compete with some of the best in the Midwest.
