Let's Meet The Illinois Alumni To NCAA D1 Nationals

Kahmari Montgomery gets the "W" for his beloved U of Houston in the indoor nationals 4x4

Austin, TX--The biggest and most important championship for collegiate athletes to date is upon us. The Division 1 National Championship makes its way to the U of Texas campus.

The weather will be a topic of discussion with the Mercury reaching the upper 90s at times. The athletes who make up the participants will also be hot. A solid and strong contingent of former Illinois preps is the topic of discussion here. Although state schools Chicago State University, University of Illinois, and Southern Illinois University do not have a complete list of former in-state preps, they should be recognized as having qualified relays with predominate talent.

Former Plainfield Central High School superstar champion Kahmari Montgomery is perhaps the superstar of the bunch and he is a chief figure for his U of Houston squad that is online to be a team titlist. Montgomery is one of the favorites in the 400m and will most likely anchor the 4x400 relay should they be in a title race.
