While she lost a head-to-head matchup with in-state rival Taryn Parks, the performance was downright ridiculous. Starliper lowered her career and personal best 1600m, going a US No. 2 time of 4:37.45. Paired with her US No. 2 of 9:54.75 in the 3200m and her second-place outing from the Penn Relays and her 2:13.19 in the 800m from early in May, she remains one of the best distance runners in the country.

The most deserved entrant on the MileSplit50 list this week, Parks put down a crazy PR and US No. 1 time of 4:37.07 in the 1600m to win her state battle with Starliper. That time is No. 4 all-time on our 1600m national charts -- and she's just a junior. Parks has also run a 2:09.56 in the 800m.
