In the final lap Hopewell Valley's (NJ) Sean Dolan, Allentown's Liam Murphy (NJ), and Mendham's (NJ) Jack Stanley were all in a tight battle.
With a little more than 200m to go, it looked like Murphy -- the 2019 New Jersey indoor 3200m Meet of Champions winner -- was going to take this win as well. Dolan had other plans.
With 100m to go Dolan pulled away from the rest of the field running to the win, setting a new PR and US top 25 time in the 3200m of 9:02.66.
