State championship season is here, and Florida athletes will bring the heat this weekend in Jacksonville.
The Sunshine State's final regular season meet, held at the University of North Florida, routinely hosts some of the fastest times, lands some of the biggest marks and connects on a handful of the longest jumps in the country.
This season? No different.

We'll draw to a close the final season of one of the country's biggest stars, Miami Norland's Tyrese Cooper. We'll watch as Oak Hall phenom sophomore, Tamari Davis, attempts to do the impossible in the 100m and 200m.
The state's best boys athletes, like Estero's Hugh Brittenham, Bolles' Charles Hicks, Piper's Sukeil Foucha, Rickards' Jabari Bryant, Fort Myers' Jacob Lemmon and Cardinal Gibbons' Jackson Marseille will all aim for state titles in their respective events.
Girls athletes like Northeast's Jan'Taijah Ford and Briana Williams (she'll be running in her team's 4x400), The Villages' Rebecca Clark, St. Thomas Aquinas' Emelia Chatfield, Miami Southridge's Alyssa Jones and Cocoa's Jatana Folston will be on full display.
