Jan'Taijah Ford was faster than ever in an open 400 meter race last week, and for that career best effort she was rewarded with National Performer of the Week honors

The Oakland Park Northeast (FL) High School senior and University of Southern California signee still holds a US No. 1 time of 52.17 seconds after her win at the Broward County Championships, and she earned over 2,300 votes and 89-percent of the tallies on her way to the recognition.

A big kudos goes out to Jan'Taijah, who's headed for a big outdoor season.

Now let's move on to the voting this week, which will be our last indoor poll of the season.

Below, we have eight more girls nominees for this week's top honor. Vote in the poll below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
