What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and helping
the hospital?
It's an honor to be selected and to be able to help out the hospital.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I heard that it was a big deal to be selected and it was a great time.

What do you hope to experience during The Run?
I hope to make new friends from all around the state and be able to help the hospital.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I have not prepared to run with a football so it should be interesting...

How would you rate your senior season?
10/10 I accomplished my goal of sub-17 and my goal of qualifying for the shrine bowl run.

What future goals do you have?
I hope to run a sub-16 5K, a sub-10 3200m and a sub 4:30 mile one day.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
No, I am still talking to a few small colleges and deciding what my best option is right now.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I ran XC to get in shape for soccer during my freshman year and fell in love with the sport.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the
Shriners Hospital?
No.

How have you seen the
sport change in the state? Please explain.
I have seen younger and younger runners make varsity and impact team scores on the boys side.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
My motivation was knowing that I can not leave anything out on the course because this could be the last year of doing a sport that has had such a positive impact on my life.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would end world hunger and poverty so that everyone had a chance to enjoy life to the fullest.
