Ashlyn Hillyard, Plano Senior (TX): Has been on the national fringe for weeks, and her 16:38.21 at the UIL 6A-Region 2 meet continued her trajectory upward.
Sasha Neglia, Dobyns Bennett (TN): Has run well over the past two weeks, and is on the cusp. She won the Big 11 Conference on Oct. 18 in 17:59.30.
Emma Wilson, Greencastle (IN): The Indiana is unbeaten and won a tough battle with Phoebe Bates this weekend at Semi-State
Kyla Becker, Portland Lincoln (OR): The Oregon runner has been unbelievably consistent throughout the season, with five sub-17 performances.
