Team: Lewis And Clark High School, Washington
Analysis: Lewis And Clark had a strong 2017 season, highlighted by wins at the Mountain West Classic Invitational and the WIAA State Championship Class 4A state meet. At NXR Northwest, the team battled its toughest competition of the season but fell short of making it to NXN when it placed fifth behind the likes of Central Valley, which it had beaten by one point a week earlier, and Bozeman (MT), another team it had beaten earlier in the season.
Lewis and Clark will be led by Wil Smith and Patrick North. Both athletes were sophomores in 2017, but Smith led the team as its No. 1 every meet and North was consistently in the top five.
