India's National Record Holder Earns Scholarship With Kansas State


Tejaswin Shankar will follow in the footsteps of legends before him.

The 19-year-old athlete from India will become only the third athlete from his country to compete in the NCAA after he signs with Kansas State University during the national signing period, according to sportskeeda.com

Shankar has the national high jump record in India and has marked a height of 2.4 meters (7 feet, 4 inches).
