7. Alex Stout doubles in the 1-mile and 3000m at the St. Francis Invitational in California
The junior from Santa Cruz Pacific Collegiate in California, a runner-up at the CIF Division 5 cross country championship this past fall, showed some strong promise in the 1-mile (5:02.76) and 3000m runs (10:17.95), executing on two US No. 1 times.
They were her first two runs at the distances over her track and field career. By June, expect those times to drop considerably. She's gone 4:58.53 in the 1600m and 11:01.55 in the 3200m.
