Devlin 45th, Glodek 70th at Nike Cross Nationals

Aislinn Devlin closed out her cross country career with a 45th place finish at Nike Cross Nationals.

The Downingtown West senior ran a time of 18:55 to finish as the top Pennsylvania girl at the national championship race in Portland, Oregon. Devlin was ninth place last season as a junior. For a second straight year, she qualified for this meet by winning the NXN Northeast Regional.

Perkiomen Valley's Annie Glodek was the next PA runner across the line. Glodek ran a strong race, placing 70th in a time of 19:02. Unionville's Anna Juul was 135th place in a time of 20:02.

Brie Oakley of Colorado broke away early and ran away with the individual crown. Oakley clocked in at 17:10 for the win. In the team race, Fayetteville-Manlius from New York won its tenth NXN title. F-M left no doubt about it, scoring just 41 points to win by 140 points over second place Davis from California.
