How good is this team: The Huskies are a veteran team mostly consisting of juniors who act and perform like professionals. The expectations after blitzing through the Illinois season is to place in the top 10 or better. Naperville North may be even better in 2017 but it's go for broke time now!

Individual breakdown:

Sarah Schmitt (Jr.)- has been our number one runner all year, and she is really developing into a tremendous runner.  She has had a tremendous junior year so far, and is rounding into a great leader for our program.

Hannah Ricci (Jr.)- has really come on lately, earning all-state honors and running well at NXR.  She entered the year as a great runner and has improved tremendously in the last several weeks.

Alex Morris (So.)- has a deep and abiding love of the sport.  She loves to put in her training time more than perhaps anyone I have coached, and it is wonderful to see it pay off with such superlative performances.

Claire Hamilton (Sr.)- has been a leader in the program for the last four seasons, and in her senior year, she has fought off some health issues to continue to make us better through steadfast grit and determination.

Gabby Champion (Jr.)- is, as a senior, a newcomer to our top seven and has often been our fifth runner.  She has worked hard and improved steadily for four years, and it is amazing to see how far she has come this year.

Claire Hill (So.)- is a talented sophomore who ran some in the top seven as a freshman and, in spite of some setbacks this year, has persevered and looks increasingly good.  She seems to be on her way forward!

Kayla Glowacki (Sr.)- is a senior in her second year in the top seven.   Her dedication as a leader has been impressive, and she appears to have rebounded from some mid-season health issues and is running great now!
