2015 Foot Locker finalist Maria Coffin didn't hesitate to run with the nation's No. 5 ranked cross country runner in Kate Murphy at the Frank Keyser Invitational in Boonsboro, Maryland. The two seniors battled to times of 16:56.9 and 17:10.2 to run well under the three mile meet record. Early leader was actually Catoctin High's Julien Webster, who finished third in 17:44.7.
No. 14 ranked Lake Braddock dominated the team competition behind Murphy's individual win by packing five scorers into the top ten overall and scoring just 27 points.
