Eight Must-Watch Races Of The Weekend

No. 1 FM Girls Dominate Manhattan, No. 19 Katelyn Tuohy Over No. 20 Lydia Olivere For Individual Title

The nation's No. 1 ranked girls team in Fayetteville-Manlius blew out the competition at Saturday's Manhattan Invitational by scoring just 34 points and placing five scorers in the top 12 overall. Their team average of 14:43 was seven seconds slower than last year, though the point differential from second place was much higher as runners-up North Rockland scored 141 points.

The individual battle was an exciting one that came down to the home straight as No. 19 ranked freshman Katelyn Tuohy of North Rockland won her first major cross country title over No. 20 Lydia Olivere of Padua Academy, Del., who has won two major titles in a row.
