One of the weekend's most exciting head-to-head match-ups saw two nationally ranked Kansas stars race for the first time this year: No. 3 Cailie Logue and No. 18 Molly Born. Logue, a senior at Girard High School, ran about 16:45 (official results pending) for a new 5K PB, while Born, a sophomore at Shawnee Mission Northwest, was second in about 17:10.
