Abbe Goldstein is one of the top distance recruits in the Class of 2017: she was fifth at New Balance Nationals Indoor with a time of 10:20.55 for two miles and fourth in the Penn Relays 3K in 9:33.96 before taking time away from the track to participate in a student exchange program in Spain. After her breakout junior track season, she looks ready to make the next jump and qualify for a berth at a national cross country championship. She placed 19th at Foot Locker Northeast last November and is the eighth returner to Van Cortlandt Park. Goldstein will also hope to win her first PA Independent Schools XC Championship this fall, as she has taken runner-up honors for three years in a row.
