Ohio Athletes Earn Four Post Season National Titles!

Over the weekend Ohio athletes won four post season National titles.  Sr. Andrew Jordan of Watkins Memorial led a Brooks PR-2-Mile field that had 13 runners go under 9: winning in a time of 8:50.12,  Sylvania Southview Sr. Frank Hayes ran a 1:49.36 to win the NBNO's 800m, Withrow Jr. Albert Kalala won he High Jump with a jump of 6-10 1/4 and Granville Sr. Michaela DeGenero won the NBNO's Girl's Mile with Ohio an All Time #2 Girl's Mile of 4:42.22 and an Ohio All-Time #2 1,600c of 4:40.58.

Joe Bistritz ran a 4:06.70 in placing 6th in the Adidas Boy's Dream Mile.  (photo Chuck Martin)


Ohio had some other great performances over the weekend in the Adidas Boy's Dream Mile and Girl's Dream 100 and at the NBNO. Chagrin Fall's Sr. Joe Bistritz was 6th in the Adidas Dream Mile with a 4:06.70 and Sr. Gavin Gaynor of Hudson was 8th with a 4:07.17.  Dublin Coffman So. Abby Steiner was 4th in the Adidas Girls Dream 100 running an 11.81.  Jr. Molly Leppelmeier placed in all three Girl's Weight events at the NBNO.
