Great Oak Boys and Palos Verdes Girls Run Nation-Leading 4x800s At Mt. SAC
The Palos Verdes girls lineup of Morgan Irish, Jacquelyn Smith, Camille Hines, and Grace Catena powered to a US #1 mark of 9:08.18 to win the Mt. SAC 4x800.
They were matched in the boys race by Great Oak. The quartet from Temecula of Spencer Dodds, Solomon Fountain, Cole Spencer, and Isaac Cortes ran a US #1 7:37.61 a week after breaking the national record in the 4x1600 relay. Cortes split 1:51 and change on the anchor leg.
