Tasty Race of the Week: Eighth-Grader Anna Jensen Is Legit


Just because Grant Fisher, Donavan Brazier and Audrey Belf graduated, Michigan high school track and field is not any less boss. Cue eighth-grader Anna Jensen from Midland, who led the Girls 3200m at the Gazelle Sports/New Balance Elite Meet that produced four of the top ten times in the nation this year.

Jensen's final winning time of 10:33.96 ranks No. 2 in the nation over 3200m; Maddy Trevisan (10:37.14) ranks No. 5; Anne Forsyth (10:40.3) ranks No. 6; Rachel Bonner (10:42.02) ranks No. 8.
