Florida's top individuals are in Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2015 Foot Locker South Regional. The championship races will take place 10:00 and 10:40 a.m. with the girls starting first. The temperature at McAlpine Greenway Park is slated for a comfortable 60 degrees at that time. Our MileSplit coverage team is on-site and will be providing live updates, photos, videos, interviews, and a recap of all the action! - The Florida streak continues! Lyman's Joshua Jacques finishes 8th (15:21) while Merritt Island senior Steven Cross (15:24) (both pictured above) nabs the 10th and final spot. Both will represent the Sunshine State in beautiful San Diego at Foot Locker Nationals! Sarasota senior Adam Bradtmueller just misses out with a 12th place finish (15:31). Blake Lowery (18th, 15:36), and Trevor Kattenberg (30th, 15:51) round out the top five Florida boys. Florida finished second behind Virginia in the team standings.
- For the second year in a row no Florida girls will be making the trip to San Diego as none finished in the top ten. Alyssa Pujals top Florida finisher with 17:56 for 14th place. Daniela Urzua (21st, 18:07), Emma Tucker (34th, 18:30), Kayley DeLay and Leigha Torino round out Florida's fastest five.
