National Recruiting Corner: Where Is The Class Of 2016 Headed?

Boys Distance Signing News - 10/1

Aidan Tooker
of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and Andrew Jordan of Watkins Memorial, Ohio are the first high-profile boys distance signings, as Tooker committed to Syracuse and Jordan committed to Iowa State last week. Both are currently ranked within the Saucony Flo50, with Tooker at No. 10 and Jordan No. 12, thanks to a 15:04 all-time Queensbury course record by Tooker and 14:44 best by Jordan.

Tooker's commitment is the first of what may be several high-profile men's distance signings for Cuse. Saucony Flo50 No. 2 and 3 ranked Austin Tamagno and Carter Blunt visited the Orangemen over the same weekend.

All-Americans Tamagno and Blunt were also spotted at the University of Oregon together.

Tamagno says he is also considering Cal-Berkeley and Oklahoma State.

Blunt has also been spotted at Florida State and Texas Tech. Blunt's brother, Clark, is a junior on the Red Raiders' cross country roster.

Great Trip to Florida State!

Saucony Flo50 No. 1 Drew Hunter is keeping mum for now about his official visits, but plans to announce during the early signing period in November.
