MileSplit All-American Team - Girls Discus Presented by New Balance

Kaylee Antiill was the New Balance Nationals Outdoor champion throwing the U.S. No. 4 mark to take the title.

1. Kaylee Antill (Tri-Valley, OH - Sr.) - Antill captured the Ohio state title in the Discus, bettering her second place finish from last years state meet. At New Balance Nationals Outdoor, she took the national title with her U.S. No. 4 throw of 169-3.

2. Kiana Phelps (Kingsley-Pearson, IA - Jr.) - The U.S. No. 2 thrower won her third Iowa state title in the discus this year. Phelps also took victories at the Drake Relays and the Caribbean Scholastic Invitation in Cuba. At New Balance Nationals Outdoors she finished second.

3. Josie Schaefer (Baraboo, WI - So.) - The Wisconsin state runner up in the discus took first at the World Youth Trials, earning herself a spot on the U.S. World Youth team. Schaefer finished the year off ranked U.S. No. 3 with her 169-4 mark at the Baraboo Invitational in May.

4. Sam Noennig (Hartford Union, WI - Jr.) - Noenning defended her Wisconsin state title this year with her U.S. No. 8 throw of 161-6. She went on to finish third at New Balance Nationals Outdoors and second at the World Youth Trials just five days after finished 13th at USATF Jr. Nationals.

5. Haley Showalter (Valor Christian, CO - Sr.) - Showalter took her second consecutive Colorado state title in the discus, defending her title from last year. She took first at the Golden Southwest Classic and went on to finish fifth at New Balance Nationals Outdoors. At USATF Jr. Nationals, she finished fourth and was the top high school finisher in the field.

6.Ronna Stone (Valley Christian, CA - Sr.) - Stone took second at the Arcadia Invitational and would go on to take the CIF state title with her U.S. No. 7 throw of 161-9.

7. Meia Gordon ( Cypress Creek, TX - Sr.) - The Texas state champ took first at the Texas Relays and had an almost perfect season in the discus. She took her first loss at the World Youth Trials where she finished eighth.

8. Elena Bruckner (Valley Christian, CA - Jr.) - The U.S. No. 1 in the discus with her PR of 182-8 took the victory at the Arcadia Invitational and finished third at the California state meet.
