MileSplit All-American Team - Boys 800m Dash Presented by New Balance

Donavan Brazier had the fastest time in the country this year and U.S. No. 4 All-Time with his 1:47.55!

1. Donavan Brazier (Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills, MI - Sr.) - The Texas A&M commit has been ranked U.S. No. 1 for almost the entire season and he put the bow on his year running U.S. No. 4 All-Time 1:47.55 at Brooks PR Invitational.

2. Carlton Orange (Memphis University School, TN - Sr.) - The senior has leg speed - not only was he the 2014 Tennessee State 800m Champion, but he also won the 400m state championship running 48.07. At the USATF Junior Championships, Orange ran a new U.S. No. 4 All-Time 1:47.67, beating out a competitive field of high schoolers and college freshman.

3. John Lewis (Cheltenham, PA - Sr.) - The PA state champ capped off his season by winning NBNO in 1:48.33. That time ranks him as the third-fastest prep in the country.

4. Myles Marshall (Kingwood, TX - Sr.) - The Texas state champion helped pace the first 1200m of the Dream Mile and then came back the next weekend to finish runner-up at NBNO just behind Lewis running a 1:48.86. The Harvard commit and 2014 World Youth Olympic Games Gold Medalist had a rough race at USATF Junior Championships this year, running a 1:53.23 to finish 12th just outside of making it to prelims. The senior still holds the fourth fastest time in the country which he ran at NBNO.

5. Isaiah Harris (Lewiston, ME - Sr.) - The Maine senior won both the 1600m (4:18.92) and 800m (1:55.42) state titles. He ran the fifth fastest time in the country this year at NBNO, where he took third (1:49.63) only a second behind Lewis and Marshall.

6. Avery Bartlett (Chiles, FL - Sr.) - The three-time Florida State Champion claimed both the 1600m (4:12.76) and 800m (1:53.10) state titles this year. Bartlett completed off his season finishing fourth in the 800m at NBNO, running 1:49.66.

7. Shane Streich (Waseca, MN - Sr.) - After claiming the Minnesota State titles in both the 800m (1:51.04) and 1600m (4:12.02), Streich ran his best time of the season in 1:49.73, good for U.S. No. 7, at the U.S. Army Midwest Distance Classic. The senior capped off his season at the USATF Junior Championships, where he finished fifth in 1:50.29.

8. Philip Hall (South View, NC - Sr.) - The nine-time state champion ran his fastest time of the year (1:50.46) at the NCRunners/SCRunners Elite Tune-Up. He finished first in the mile at Raleigh Relays, running a 4:15.10, which earned him a spot to the adidas Dream Mile where he finished seventh with a time of 4:08.80.
