In our latest Brooks PR Match-Up, we breakdown the PR's and head to head outcomes between the US #1 and US #2 ranked 100 meter hurdles in the country in Cali's finest in Jasmyne Graham, a senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School and Mecca McGlaston, a junior at Dublin High School.

It is probably a good thing that Graham and McGlaston are getting a weekend off from each other in between the California State Championships and Brooks PR Invitational because things got physical in the end of their race last weekend.

After the last set of hurdles in the state meet finals for the 100 meter hurdles, Graham and McGlaston made contact with each other's swinging arms. Some in McGlaston's camp believed she was impeded by Graham from winning and repeating as the California state champ. No disqualification was given despite the protest and Graham was awarded the state title.

Despite some controversy at the end, the race was a thriller nonetheless resulting in the nation's fastest two times in the event with Graham winning her first state title as a senior in a US #1 13.17 personal best, which ranks her US #5 all-time in the event. Meanwhile, McGlaston didn't repeat as a state champion, but did come away with a significant PR drop of 13.18 to move herself to a US #6 all-time ranking in the 100 meter hurdles. Only a junior, McGlaston will have an opportunity to regain her CIF State title next spring.

But first, McGlaston wants revenge from her state meet loss and the opportunity will present itself next Saturday in Seattle when she faces off again against Graham. On the hand, Graham is looking to keep her undefeated season unblemished as she has not lost a race in either the 100 meter hurdles or 300 meter hurdles (US #1 ranked 40.73) this spring.

Dior Hall's 13.32 meet record from the 2014 Brooks PR Invitational is certainly in jeopardy with the two Californians as the fastest seeds under the existing record time in a deep 100 meter hurdles field. Keep in mind that Hall went onto set the national record in the 100 meter hurdles (12.91) later in the summer of 2014.

Both Jasmyne Graham and Mecca McGlaston will be competing at the Brooks PR Invitational in the girls 100 meter hurdles on Saturday, June 20th in Seattle. Who will come out with the Fastest PR then? Watch LIVE on MileSplit and Flotrack on June 20th to find out!
