Matthew Novak of Deep Run High School often gets overlooked in his own state with the likes of New Balance Nationals Indoor champion and last year's Penn Relays 3K champion Drew Hunter garnering much of the national spotlight, but Novak has earned All-American honors twice in the mile and is the top returnee (3rd) from the 2014 Penn Relays boys mile.
