Sarah Walker (Germantown Friends, PA) rolls US #5 2:10.56 800m. Freshman Rylee Bowen US #1 9:49.61 3k leads top five girls under 10 minutes while Kai Benedict (Chino Hills, CA) runs US #1 8:32.38 to edge Eduardo Herrera (Madera South, CA), US #2 8:33.33. Benedict returns the next day for the Mile, to finish runner-up in 4:15.48 to Steven Sum's 4:14.61 victory. Christian Aragon wins Girls Mile with US #7 4:53.75. ; Granite Bay boys US #2 10:20.89 DMR; Campolindo girls US #1 11:56.51 DMR. Maya Miklos (Gunn, CA) leads national leaderboard assault in 400mH with US #1 1:00.69.

  • Victor Lopez Classic (TX) - On-Site Coverage - Watch Race Videos! - New Balance Nationals Indoor surprise third-placer in the Two Mile, Julia Heymach, showed she has range with an impressive US #1 2:07.65 800m; she leads the nation by more than two full seconds in the event. She then came back 90 minutes later to win the 1500 in a US #1 time of 4:23! Jarra Owens (Fort Bend Bush, TX) and Amber Ivy (Cypress Creek, TX) go sub-55 in the 400m, US #3 54.23 to US #14 54.96.

  • Burkburnett Boomtown Relays (TX) - US #2 Triple Jumper Charles Brown (Wichita Falls Hirschi, TX) has a standout day, jumping just short of his seasonal best TJ in 48-7 (still ranks US #6), ties for US #2 with 7-0 HJ and jumps US #3 24-8.5 LJ.

Sophomore Candace Hill (Rockdale, GA) recorded US #1 marks in the 100m (11.30) and 200m (23.87) at the Mobile Challenge of Champions (AL).


  • Mobile Challenge of Champions (AL) - On-Site Coverage - Watch Race Videos! - Candace Hill (Rockdale, GA) is sensational in the sprints, recording US #1 11.3 100m & 23.87 200m. Ryan Clark (Banneker, GA) rolls US #2 20.90 200m, beating out Nathanaiel Huggins (21.50), who runs US #4 47.21 400m. In the battle of Louisiana javelin throwers, Samantha Zeldon (St. Scholastica, LA) moved up to US #4 with a Meet Record 147-6 throw to defeat US #1 Alexis Rigmaiden (143-4), who threw a giant 157-1 just a few days ago. Hoover (AL) Girls 4x800m moves up to US #3 9:21.72. Sean Collins (McGill-Toolen, AL) continues to break former National High School Record Holder Devin King's meet records, as he improves his own US #2 PV to 17-3.25.

Zach Long unleashes monster kicks against competition and wind at Tri-Cities mile & 800!

  • Tri-Cities Classic (TN) - On-Site Coverage - Watch Race Videos! - Blacksburg girls made the trip from Virginia to Tennessee looking for a time fast enough to qualify for the Penn Relays Carnival Championship of America DMR. They hit 12:10, which stands as US #6 by the end of the Friday night action. The Daniel Boone boys recorded what may be the Tennessee State Record in the event at US #4 10:22, with a little help from Adam Barnard's 4:16 anchor. NXN All-American Barnard came back on Saturday to race Foot Locker finalist Zach Long (Grainger, TN) in the 800m, as Long pulled out all stops in the second 400m to win, 1:54.31 to 1:57.83. The race was Long's second victory of the day, as he showcased another dramatic kick to win in a new PR of 4:17.08 over Joe Bindner (4:20.61) and Javan Winders (4:21.6). In addition to her standout 1,200m leg on Friday night's DMR, Blacksburg senior Jennifer Fleming doubled up with wins in the Mile (5:01.03) and 800m (2:18.54) in windy conditions. McKenzie Ethridge (Signal Mountain, TN) doubled in the 100m (12.10) and 200m (25.45).

  • Cyclone Relays (AR) - National High School Record Holder Lexi Weeks took back control of the national outdoor leaderboard with US #1 13-8 as twin Tori also cleared 13-8 but finished runner-up with more misses. The twins competed in several other events, as Lexi won the 400m (57.61), Tori won the 300H (44.82), they swept the LJ as Lexi jumped 17-9.75 and Tori jumped 17-9.5. Tori was runner-up in the TJ at 36-9. The girls' 4x100m won in 49.80 and 4x400m won in 4:04.84.
  • Walker Relays (LA) - Alexis Rigmaiden (St. Louis, LA) threw a nearly 15-foot PR in the Javelin to nail a new US #1 157-1!
  • Andale Invitational (KS) - Jeff Ast (Andale, KS) throws US #1 226-2 Javelin to PR by 27 feet!
  • Rockwall Rockin 'R' Relays (TX) - Jarred Atkinson (Mesquite Horn, TX) runs US #8 21.26 200m; Emanuel Ogwo runs fastest 100m of Friday night in 10.52. Will Herrscher (Rockwall Heath, TX) becomes latest to join 17-foot PV club with 17-0 even to tie US #6.
  • Hewitt Midway Relays (TX) - Wilbert London (Waco, TX) may have one of - if not the - top double performances of the weekend with his US #10 47.5 400m/US #9 21.24 200m.

Adam Kelly ready to break into the US top 10 all-time weight throw party!

Adam Kelly (Barrington, RI) improved to US #12 All-Time in the Weight Throw with his nation-leading launch of 236-7, a personal best by more than 13 feet.
  • Knights of Columbis Relays (RI) - This meet recorded the nation's top three marks in the Weight Throw, starting with Adam Kelley's US #1, US #12 All-Time heave of 236-7. Barrington teammate Bobby Colantonio's US #2 235-11 was good for US #14 All-Time. Third place isn't bad when you also rank US #3 for consolation, as Owen Russell discovered with his US #3 222-3.
